WORLD SQUASH DAY 2015: in aid of UNICEF
SATURDAY OCTOBER 10th 2015
Our main targets
- encouraging federations and clubs to get involved
- to promote the sport
- attract new players
- show off all the attributes that will hopefully result in the sport becoming part of the Olympics
- and to raise funds for one of the world’s most important charities with immediate and pressing needs
Squash is a great game. We all know that. It’s all about fun and fitness, and making friends for life. At the top level, our male and female PSA professionals are truly phenomenal athletes.
World Squash Day gives us the opportunity to share the fun, open our doors to a wider audience, and attract new players.
We can also create special events to raise funds for Unicef, one of the world’s most important charities.
Unicef is the world’s biggest charity for children. With so many young people in desperate need of help, whether it is because of natural causes like earthquakes or floods, or those caught up in war zones, this is a call for the worldwide squash family to do something special for Unicef.
We have a global army of junior squash players who are happy, healthy, fit and safe.
World Squash Day 2015 gives all of our student and junior players the opportunity to harness all that energy and become fully involved in the event.
Let’s make it happen.
